Cape Town to Aquila Private Game Reserve

Take a scenic 2-hour drive to Aquila Private Game Reserve for your all-inclusive Big 5 safari tour from Cape Town. Expect a pick-up at 10:00 am from your hotel in Cape Town or Cape Town International Airport before heading to Aquila Game Reserve.

Upon your arrival, receive a welcome drink before making your way to the restaurant for your buffet lunch. Thereafter, your porter will assist you with your luggage and show you to your lodge room for check-in. Spend the rest of the afternoon enjoying a cocktail on the terrace or taking a dip in the pool.

In the late afternoon, prepare for your afternoon safari game drive in an open 4x4 safari game truck with a personal safari game ranger and look out for the Big 5 animals.

Upon your return from the game drive, make your way to the restaurant for dinner and optional stargazing before retreating to your lodge room for a good night's rest.

Aquila Private Game Reserve Big 5 Safari

Prepare for an early morning game drive starting at 8:30 am and enjoy more chance encounters and sights of the Big 5 animals. Keep an eye out for lion, leopard, elephant, rhino, buffalo and other animals such as giraffe, zebra, antelope, hippo, etc.

After your game drive, enjoy a hearty buffet breakfast in the restaurant and spend the rest of the day at leisure. Other things to do at the reserve include a quad bike safari, a horseback safari, a swim in the pool, and spa treatments. Lunch will be served in the restaurant from 12:30 pm.

In the afternoon, enjoy a 2 to 3-hour safari game drive before dinner from 7:00 pm with the option of stargazing. Please take note that you can swap a safari game drive for a horseback safari.

Retire to your lodge room for a good night's rest.

Aquila Game Reserve to Cape Town

Wake up to the sound of the African bush on your final morning at Aquila Private Game Reserve. You have the option of a last safari game drive or spending a relaxed morning to prepare for your departure. Breakfast will be served in the restaurant from 8:00 am to 10:00 am. Thereafter, check out from your lodge room with the assistance of your porter and meet your private guide-driver in the lodge reception area for your private transfer back to Cape Town. You will be dropped off at either your accommodation or Cape Town International Airport.
