After a briefing by our representative, your safari starts taking you through vast coffee, tea and pineapple plantations in the country's central region. You pass through small but vibrant towns and villages past the foot of Mount Kenya, the second-highest mountain in Africa. Continue further north to Samburu National Reserve, where you will arrive at your lodge/camp in good time for check-in and lunch. After lunch, embark on an afternoon game viewing drive until the sun drops when you return to your lodge/camp.

Day 2

Start the day with an early morning game viewing drive and return to the lodge for a mid-morning breakfast. Rest at leisure, enjoying the lodge facilities, followed by lunch. After lunch, proceed for an afternoon game viewing drive. The Samburu community share many similarities with the Masai community, yet there are so many cultural differences that you can opt to visit them. The dramatic scenery of scattered woodlands, dry grasslands, and riverside forest along the Ewaso Ng'iro River characterizes Samburu National Reserve. You have a chance to spot Samburu's big five—gerenuk, Grevy zebra, reticulated giraffe and Somali ostrich, which are only found north of the equator. The park also has many lions, leopards, buffaloes, elephants, and antelopes, among many other game.

Day 3

Lake Nakuru National Park

After breakfast, you depart Samburu and drive to Lake Nakuru National Park at the foot of the Great Rift Valley. You will have a stop at the equator crossing point. Arrive at your lodge/camp in time for check-in and lunch, followed by afternoon game drives at Lake Nakuru National Park until the sun drops. Lake Nakuru, a good algae source, provides a perfect feeding ground for flamingoes, attracting thousands at any point. If lucky, you will see lions, leopards, black and white rhinos, buffaloes, greater and lesser flamingos and many more wild animals and birds.

Day 4

Masai Mara National Reserve

After breakfast, you depart Lake Nakuru for Masai Mara National Reserve. Arrive at Masai Mara in time for check-in and lunch at your chosen camp/lodge. After lunch, relax, and later, proceed for an afternoon game drive in the natural world of savannah grasslands of the great Masai Mara. The connection to the wild during game drives is authentic, and one can get quite emotive with each day offering a different experience. After the game drive, return to the camp/lodge for dinner and overnight.

Day 5

Masai Mara National Reserve

After breakfast, you will embark on a full day game drive on the vast plains of Masai Mara with a picnic lunch. Masai Mara is an all-year destination characterized by rolling plains of grassland savannah with a high concentration of game in this part of Africa. You have a chance to spot lions, elephants, rhinos, leopards, hyenas, buffaloes, antelopes, baboons and a wide variety of wild birds. At times, you can spot four of the Big Five in record time! The reserve is well known for the annual migration of millions of wildebeest, thousands of zebras, and other antelopes between July and September. A visit to a Masai village gives a direct connection to the traditional way of living by the Masai community. In the evening, you return to the lodge for dinner and an overnight stay.

Lake Naivasha

After breakfast, you depart Masai Mara and drive to Lake Naivasha at the foot of The Great Rift Valley. Arrive in time for check-in and lunch at your lodge. After lunch, proceed for a boat ride around the lake, spotting massive hippos as they emerge and submerge into the waters. Enjoy a guided nature walk along the lake to spice up the day before returning to your hotel.
