Day 1

Arusha to Serengeti National Park

Arusha to Serengeti National Park

After an early breakfast, you'll leave Arusha for the world-famous Serengeti, the most popular national park ever! The drive is long but breathtaking. On the way, you'll pass through the crater highlands, taking a quick stop at the rim to catch an otherworldly view of Ngorongoro Crater. It's a moment you won't forget, especially if it's your first time.

As you journey deeper into the Serengeti, you'll understand why its name means "endless plains" in the local language. The park covers a massive 6,900 square miles (18,000 square km), and most of it is vast plains stretching to the horizon, playing tricks on your senses and perception of distance.

This is where the incredible migration happens, with 2 million wildebeests, tons of zebras, and various antelopes, including lots of impalas and Thomson's gazelles.

And if you're on the lookout for big cats and formidable predators, you're in the right place – lions, cheetahs, leopards, and hyenas call this home.

Serengeti to Ngorongoro Crater

Start your day super early for an awesome sunrise and a lively morning safari with active animals.

After the safari fun, head back to camp for a well-deserved brunch. Then, it's off to Ngorongoro, the 8th Wonder of the Natural World! Picture this: a crater that's 102 square miles, surrounded by 2,000-foot-high walls – it's like Noah's ark. Almost every East African wildlife species calls it home, including the rare black rhinos.

This spot boasts the highest concentration of African wildlife on the entire continent.

The crater is a wildlife paradise with a river, swamps, a soda lake full of flamingos, a forest, and open plains. And don't miss the world's largest elephants with gigantic tusks, thanks to the nutrient-rich volcanic soil and grass. It's a nature-packed adventure!
