Day 1

Arusha to Tarangire National Park

Arusha to Tarangire National Park

We'll fetch you from your hotel at 8:30 am and set off on a 2-hour drive to Tarangire National Park, famous for its diverse landscape. The park is a hotspot for ancient baobab trees and boasts the highest concentration of elephants in the whole country. Get ready for a unique chance to watch elephant families in action. During our game drive, we'll follow reported animal sightings, especially the trickier ones like lions, cheetahs, and leopards.

Later, we'll head to the Tarangire River picnic site for lunch, enjoying a lovely view of the river and its wildlife. Beware of cheeky monkeys and baboons trying to snag your lunch - they're harmless, though!

After lunch, the game drive continues until the evening. We'll camp in Tarangire, away from the crowds, for a genuine wild camping experience – not your typical Serengeti camp, but an adventure immersed in nature.
