Maasai Cultural Experience

At =8:30 am depart from Dar es Salaam to Mikumi, a 6-hour drive, arriving around 14:00 pm, You'll have a game drive on the way to the lodge. After a short rest at 16:30 pm, you will start walking to Maasai village. Immerse yourself in Maasai traditions including dances and learning about their way Enjoy traditional life. Evening at 18:30 pm start walk back to Camp dinner and overnight stay at Mikumi Bastian Camp.

Mikumi National Park

Early morning at 07:00 after breakfast, you will drive to Mikumi National Park for a full-day game drive. While on safari, you can see a rich variety of bird species, as well as large numbers of giraffes, buffalos, and elephants. If you are lucky, you may also be able to spot lions and leopards. Other animals you're likely to see include zebras, hippos, hartebeests, wildebeests, impalas, warthogs, elands and antelopes. Afternoon enjoy picnic lunch inside the park. Continue the afternoon game drive for wildlife sightings till sunset. Return to Mikumi Camp Bastian for dinner and overnight.

Udzungwa Mountains & Sanje Waterfalls Trek

Early morning after breakfast at 7:00 am with lunch boxes packed, you will drive to Udzungwa Mountain National Park 60 kilometers. On arrival, you will check in at the park headquarters.
Thereafter, you will start hike through lush rainforests to reach the breathtaking Sanje Waterfall which is about 170m above sea level dropping in four different stages. Sanje waterfall is the highest waterfall in the Tanzania National Park system and here it is a cool place for swimming with fantastic views. The hiking will take 5 hours to hike and return and be on your way. Spot rare primates and bird species during the trek. You will have lunch packed in the park. Return to return to Mikumi Camp Bastian for dinner and an overnight stay.

Drive Back to Dar es Salaam

After breakfast at 08:00am depart for Dar es Salaam cross Mikumi National Park enjoying scenic views along the way. Arrive in Dar es Salaam and dropped off at the ferry or airport marking the end of the tour.
