Day 1

We will pick you up from your accommodation in Zanzibar and transfer you to the airport for your flight to Arusha. Upon landing at Arusha Airport, you will be warmly greeted by your guide and depart directly to Tarangire NP.

Tarangire National Park is a stunning destination known for its diverse landscapes, including low-lying hills, acacia woodlands, massive African baobab trees, and vast swamp areas in the south. The park follows the course of the Tarangire River, which, along with the swamps, becomes a magnet for wildlife during Tanzania’s dry season.

Tarangire is famous for having some of Africa’s largest elephant herds and is also home to rare species such as the greater kudu, fringe-eared oryx, and Ashy starlings. In the afternoon, you’ll stop for a picnic lunch at a scenic riverside site, surrounded by the sights and sounds of the wild.

After an exciting day of wildlife viewing, you’ll depart Tarangire in the late afternoon and head to your selected accommodation.

Day 2

After breakfast at Neptune, located just 20 minutes from the Ngorongoro Gate, you will depart for the Ngorongoro Crater. The lodge’s convenient location allows for an early start, maximizing your time in the crater.

You will begin your descent into the Ngorongoro Crater, a UNESCO World Heritage Site and one of the most iconic wildlife destinations in the world. The crater floor supports a year-round population of animals, including the Big Five (lion, leopard, elephant, buffalo, and rhino), as well as zebras, wildebeests, hippos, hyenas, and a variety of bird species.

Your game drive will take you through this unique ecosystem, offering unparalleled opportunities for wildlife viewing and photography. Your guide will share insights into the crater’s geology, and for lunch, you will stop at the Hippo Pool where you can enjoy a meal surrounded by breathtaking views and the sounds of nature. In the late afternoon, you will ascend the crater Proceed to Serengeti for Overnight.

Day 3

After an early breakfast at your lodge or camp in the Serengeti, you will depart at sunrise for a full day of game drives in Serengeti NP. The early morning is one of the best times to spot wildlife, as animals are most active during the cooler hours of the day. The Serengeti is renowned for its vast plains, dramatic landscapes, and incredible biodiversity. You’ll have the chance to see lions, cheetahs, leopards, elephants, giraffes, and countless other species.

For lunch, you’ll stop at a scenic picnic site within the park, surrounded by the sights and sounds of the wild. Your guide will choose a safe and picturesque location for your meal. After lunch, the game drive continues, with your guide tailoring the experience to your interests.

As the sun begins to set, enjoy the golden light of the African sunset while driving back to your lodge or camp. Arrive in time for dinner and spend the evening relaxing under the stars, sharing stories of the day’s adventures.

After an early breakfast at your lodge or camp in the Serengeti, you will embark on a morning game drive as you make your way to the airstrip. This final game drive allows you to soak in the last moments of the Serengeti’s breathtaking landscapes and wildlife.

Upon arrival in Zanzibar, you will be greeted by a local guide who will take you on a Stone Town Tour. This tour is a perfect way to stretch your legs after your epic safari and immerse yourself in the rich history and culture of Zanzibar.

Stone Town, a UNESCO World Heritage Site, is a fascinating blend of African, Arab, Indian, and European influences. During the tour, you’ll explore narrow winding streets, visit historic landmarks such as the House of Wonders and the Old Fort, and learn about Zanzibar’s role in the spice trade and its history as a hub for explorers and traders.

After the tour, you will be driven to your beachside accommodation in Zanzibar, where you can relax and unwind after your journey.
