Lake Ndutu area, situated in the Ngorongoro conservation area is part of the southern Serengeti ecosystem. Lake Ndutu is alkaline, like most of the other Rift lakes, however, the water is still drinkable and used by a wide array of local wildlife. The majority of the wildebeest migration can normally be found on the short-grass plains from December to April. The area is usually heavily populated with elephants, birds, and resident game.

You'll start your day with a game drive in the Ndutu Area after breakfast. Then, you'll go back to the camp for lunch then resume the game drive at Seronera.
You'll be in the wilderness, tracking the great migration trails in the evening as the sun goes down. A thorough explanation of this great world event that Tanzania is proud of will be provided. The park is well known for its healthy stock of other resident wildlife, particularly the Big Five, named for the five most prized trophies taken by hunters: Lion: the Serengeti is believed to hold the largest population of lions in Africa due in part to the abundance of prey species. More than 3,000 lions live in this ecosystem. African leopard: these reclusive predators are commonly seen around.

Serengeti - Ngorongoro Crater Tour
Rise and shine! After breakfast at daybreak, you will drive down into the crater. The massive collapsed volcano is home to over 25,000 mammals ranging from the Big Five —lion, elephant, buffalo, rhino, and leopard —to spotted hyenas, rare wild dogs, and some of the more than 500 bird species of the area. After an extensive game drive and a picnic for lunch, you will leave the caldera in the afternoon and head back. Meals include breakfast, lunch, and dinner.
