Depart from your accommodation after breakfast heading to Tarangire national park. The drive to Tarangire is about an hour, and once inside, you'll embark on a full-day game drive. You'll witness the park's famous elephant herds, lions, leopards, and various bird species, particularly around the Tarangire River, which serves as a vital water source. A picnic lunch is often enjoyed at one of the designated sites, offering scenic views. The day continues with more wildlife spotting and exploring the park's iconic baobab-studded landscape before returning to Arusha in the late afternoon.
