Tarangire National Park

Today, your safari takes you to Tarangire National Park, one of Tanzania’s most exciting wildlife spots! The Tarangire River runs through the park, attracting giraffes, zebras, antelopes, and buffaloes - along with the lions that follow them. You’re almost certain to see these majestic predators!

During the dry season, the river becomes the only water source for miles, drawing huge elephant herds. Tarangire has Northern Tanzania’s largest elephant population for much of the year (especially June–October and December–March). These gentle giants aren’t shy and often come close to safari vehicles - completely safe, as they have no natural enemies and are simply curious.

Ngorongoro Crater

Get ready for an exciting day of adventure! We recommend starting early so you can enjoy the best of Ngorongoro Crater in the cool morning hours when the animals are most active. To make things easier, you can have breakfast packed in lunchboxes, so you won’t miss a moment of the wildlife fun!

Ngorongoro Crater is one of the most famous places in Tanzania, full of amazing animals. As you explore, you might see herds of elephants, lions resting in the grass, wildebeests, zebras, and even hippos splashing in the water! Keep your eyes open for the rare rhino or even sneaky cats like caracals and servals.

For lunch, you’ll stop by a beautiful lake where you can watch the hippos lounging in the water. Afterward, you can continue your safari for a bit longer or head to your next lodge to relax and enjoy the rest of your day. It’s a fantastic family day filled with wildlife, nature, and lots of fun!
