You will be picked up from your hotel. After having breakfast, you will head to Mkomazi National Park. The park is one of the overlooked Tanzanian gems, with several species easier to see than anywhere else in Tanzania. But the real reason to visit here is in the wildlife sanctuary where you can visit wild dogs breeding BOMAs and view the rare rhino up close and personal. This is the only place in Tanzania where it is possible to visit the rare and almost extinct rhino.
Animals large and small call the park home, including big cats, silver-backed jackals, kudu, giraffes, Grant's gazelle, hyenas, hartebeest, warthogs, buffaloes, elephants, and zebras. After the game drive, the driver-guide will take you to Parkview Inn for dinner and your overnight stay.

Moshi to Arusha National Park
After breakfast, your guide will pick you up at your hotel and head to Arusha National Park, where your safari starts. This charming park has a rich diversity of landscapes and wildlife. From lakes, waterfalls, and swamps to volcanos, mountains, and tropical rainforests. They attract many beautiful birds including silvery-cheeked hornbill and thousands of pink-hued flamingos. This park is also the only place in northern Tanzania where you can easily spot the black-and-white colobus monkey.
One of the popular safari activities in this national park is a canoe or walking safari with an armed ranger. It is a great chance to enjoy wildlife up close, from a different perspective than sitting in a safari vehicle. Besides this, some of the most ferocious African predators like buffaloes, lions, leopards, and cheetahs are rarely spotted here. This would be an awe-inspiring experience to watch the wandering animals from the open roof of our safari vehicle. Lake Manyara to Lake Natron
After breakfast in the morning, you will travel to Lake Natron. Wild and remote, it is situated at the base of Africa’s only active volcano, Ol Doinyo Lengai, which is known as the Mountain of God to the local Maasai people. The area around Lake Natron contains some of the most harsh and amazing scenery in Africa. It is utterly breathtaking for those clients who choose to travel off the beaten path.
Together with your guide, you will be accompanied by a local Maasai guide and walk up to the Engero Sero Waterfalls. Winding up through the shady gorge, you will reach a beautiful natural swimming pool surrounded by steep rock walls showered by cascading spring water where you will have the opportunity to swim. Then after all the activities, you will go to the camp for dinner and an overnight stay.

Lake Natron to Serengeti National Park
Lake Natron is one of the most alkaline lakes in the world. Home to millions of tiny crustaceans, the lake is a haven for literally thousands of flamingos and it is one of the most important flamingo breeding grounds on earth. It is the landscape rather than the animals that is the attraction here and the area around the lake is dry, desolate, and hauntingly beautiful.
After breakfast, you will walk out across the baked mud to the shores of the great Soda Lake. From here, you can look back at the memorizing view of Oldoinyo Lengai standing tall amongst the rolling hills and flat plains. Its ash-grey color will remind you that this is still an active volcano. After lunch, you will travel to Serengeti where you will spend the night.

Serengeti National Park
Today, you'll continue your safari in the Serengeti National Park after breakfast. Its stunning landscape can be seen in some of the most impressive nature documentaries. The endless plains and abundance of wildlife are unsurpassed. The annual wildebeest migration with more than a million wildebeest is probably the highlight of the Serengeti. It is a true spectacle and impressive to watch millions of wildebeest, zebras, and gazelles thunder across the endless plains of the Serengeti. Together with your private guide, you will be looking for the herds across the plains. Apart from the migratory animals, you will also get to see lots of other animals, like lions, cheetahs, leopards, and many more. Expect to be impressed by the beauty of Africa’s most famous park.
If you like to watch wildlife from the sky, we recommend you go on a balloon safari. It is an amazing experience to drift silently above the plains with herds of wildlife. Your dinner and overnight stay will be at a campsite.

Serengeti National Park
The entire day is dedicated to wildlife viewing in the Serengeti National Park. The areas that you will visit will depend upon where the migrating herds are to be found. Predators usually follow closely behind the trekking animals. During the short rainy season in November and December, the herds move from the hills in the north to the plains in the south. During the longer rainy season from April to June, they return up north. As the migration depends upon the yearly rains, the location of the herds might vary from year to year but your guide will know where to see them best. After the wildlife viewing, you will go to the camp for dinner and an overnight stay.

Serengeti to Ngorongoro Crater
After breakfast, you will join another game drive in the Serengeti National Park and you might spot animals you haven’t seen during the last two days. The Serengeti is also home to the Big Five —lion, elephant, buffalo, rhino, and leopard —and today you might be able to see all the members of this group. After lunch at a picnic site, you will drive in the direction of the Ngorongoro Crater and as soon as you have reached the edge of the crater, the caldera opens up before you. This approximate 20 km wide crater is a UNESCO World Heritage Site and home to over 25,000 animals. You will drive to the Simba Campsite from where you can witness the sunset over the crater.
Please note that due to the high-altitude location of Simba Campsite, temperatures can drop at night. We recommend bringing extra layers to wear during the evening and the following morning.
