Day 1

Pick up from Entebbe to Kibale National Park

Pick up from Entebbe to Kibale National Park

You will be picked from the guest house or from Entebbe International airport before 1pm by a professional English speaking tour guide/driver and embark on a journey to Kibaale Forest NP. Upon arrival you will check in at the hotel and get enough rest ahead of tomorrow’s busy schedule.

Day 2

Bigodi Wetlands Excursion and Transfer to Queen Elizabeth National Park Game Drive

On this second day you will have breakfast early in the morning and then head out to Bigodi Wetland sanctuary which is the home to the biggest number of chimpanzees and other primates like Red Colobus Monkeys, Vervet Monkeys, L’Hoest’s, Black-and- White Colobus and the Olive Baboons. It is also a home to numerous different bird species
After the Bigodi Wetland sanctuary, we shall embark on journey to Queen Elizabeth National Park which is approximately 2 hours away. We shall get there early enough to have lunch and have a rest then head out for a game drive. During the game drive you can look out for animals like African elephants, lions, buffalos, Uganda Kobs, water bucks, warthogs, giant forest hogs, leopards and many others.
Queen Elizabeth is also a paradise to over 600 bird species including the African skimmer, double toothed barbet and many others. Later return to the hotel for a rest.

Day 3

On this third day, we shall have breakfast and the next thing will be trekking chimpanzees in the Kyambura gorge. The Kyambura gorge is a magnificent valley of apes located in Queen Elizabeth national park
After the trekking we shall return to the hotel for some rest and lunch. After lunch we go for a 2hr boat cruise on the Kazinga channel which connects lake George and Lake Edward. During the cruise you will spot different bird species and animals like hippos, crocodiles, elephants and many others. After the cruise return to the accommodation for a relaxing evening.

Day 4

Morning Game Drive – Kasenyi Plains and Head to Ishasha Sector, Then Connect to Bwindi

On fourth day, get up early and have breakfast, then head out to kasenyi plains for a game drive (optional). Here you will be able to spot animals like elephants, leopards, lions and many others.
After the game drive we return to the hotel to check out then embark on a journey to Bwindi Impenetrable National park via Ishasha sector where we can spot the climbing lions. The sight of these climbing lions is breath taking though at times it’s a bit difficult to spot them especially when they are down hunting
Get to the accommodation and check in as we prepare for next day’s program.

Day 5

On this day you have to wake up early so that by 7am you are through with breakfast then head to the Park center for 30 mins briefing on rules and regulations of seeing Gorillas
Normally it takes something between 3-5 hours to locate the gorillas and 1 hour of taking memorable pictures with them. After that you can learn more about the plants and wildlife in Bwindi and return back to the hotel for a rest. Later in the evening you can have a stroll in the Batwa communities to learn about their way of life and traditions. Later you return to the accommodation to rest.

After breakfast we head out for nature walk in the forest and a trail of the waterfalls. We follow the Munyanga river trail which takes us to the mesmerizing water falls. Along the way you will spot animals like monkeys and of course the beautiful scenery of the forest. Later return to the accommodation and head off to Lake Bunyonyi.

Wake up early in the morning, have breakfast and embark on a journey to Lake Mburo which is in Mbarara District. Get there on time and have some rest as we prepare for the afternoon game drive. During the game drive you will be able to see beautiful creatures like Ugandan Kobs, Impalas, zebras, warthogs, buffalos and some bird species
Optional- You can pay a little more money to the park to do a night game drive which gives you an opportunity to spot interesting animals you might have missed during the day.

Enjoy your breakfast and after go for a ranger-guided tour of the park to get a closer look at the animals like the giraffes, zebras. Uganda Kobs and many others. Later set off for Kampala.

NB: We have a self contained guest house that accommodates two people with unlimited wifi. This can be booked separately before, during or after the trip. Incase one wants to experience kampala day/night life I highly recommend this.
