Chimpanzee Tracking and Bigodi wetland walk
Wake up to the sounds of the Ugandan wilderness, enjoy a hearty breakfast, and set off for the Forest, where the dense jungle comes alive with the echoes of primates.
First, you will converge for a pre-trek briefing where you will be told about the activity you are about to undertake, and the dos and don’ts. Thereafter enter the tropical forest, which also harbours 12 other primate species including black-and-white Columbus, red-tailed and blue monkeys, and the rare l’Hoest’s monkey and gives us great chances of encountering the Chimpanzees.
In the afternoon, we'll visit the nearby Bigodi Wetland, a birdwatcher's paradise, and a haven for nature enthusiasts. Explore the boardwalks and trails that wind through this lush ecosystem and encounter an array of bird species, butterflies, and other wildlife. After a full day of adventure, return to your lodge for a delicious dinner.

Drive to Bwindi via Ishasha
Today, you'll depart for the world-renowned Bwindi Impenetrable Forest, a UNESCO World Heritage Site. This dense forest is not only home to endangered mountain gorillas but also offers some of the most stunning and diverse flora and fauna in Africa.
Visit Agartha’s Taste of Uganda Tour, to learn about the Ishasha Community Uplift Group. The Group aims to conserve biodiversity by offering economic opportunities to local communities bordering the park. During a visit, you'll experience these communities' challenges in balancing agriculture with wildlife incursions. Agartha shares stories of her life as a mukiga woman as she demonstrates sorting, pounding, willowing, and grinding millet to make bushera millet porridge, a staple for the bakiga community. This tour will give you insights into traditional practices fostering a connection with the community's daily life and conservation efforts.
After a scenic drive, you'll arrive at your lodge and prepare for your upcoming gorilla trek.

Gorilla Trekking adventure
Prepare for an early start as you embark on a once-in-a-lifetime gorilla trekking experience. You will converge for a pre-trek briefing where you will be guided about the dos and don’ts during the trek. Bwindi is home to several gorilla families, but a group of 8 people is allocated to track a single family.
Enter the forest in the company of a ranger guide in search of these primates. The trek can take between 2 – 8 hours, depending on the location of the gorillas. You'll spend a magical hour with the gorillas, observing them as they go about with their normal day, playing, grooming, feeding, and resting.
After you have returned to the lodge for Lunch, you'll have the opportunity to engage with the indigenous Batwa community. This encounter offers insight into their traditional way of life, culture, and the vital role they play in the preservation of the forest. You can partake in their dances, hear their stories, and appreciate their unique connection to this remarkable ecosystem.

Drive back to Entebbe
On this day, you will embark on your journey leading to Entebbe. This drive gives you ample opportunities to capture the beauty of Uganda’s landscapes.
Lunch will be at Igongo Cultural Centre, where you can also learn about the Ankole Culture.
You will also make a stop at the Equator crossing point in Kayabwe, to see the Monuments that signify the geographical location of the Equator, maybe place a foot in the Northern Hemisphere and the other in the Southern Hemisphere with some kodak moments. This place also has shops offering souvenirs and local crafts.
Arriving in Entebbe, you'll be transferred to the airport for your departure, bringing an end to a remarkable Ugandan adventure.
