Our Explore Kenya and Tanzania Wildlife Safari starts from your Nairobi hotel at 0700 hrs – Briefing session with All time safaris Tour Officer then start off our journey towards the majestic Mt. Kenya en-route to the open Savannah of Samburu National Reserve. Lunch at Samburu Sopa Lodge – Afternoon game drives followed by dinner and overnight stay at Samburu Sopa Lodge.

Samburu game reserve
Full day spent exploring the park. Morning and afternoon game drives are offered – Dinner and overnight stay at Samburu Sopa Lodge. The highlights of Samburu game reserve is the spectacular scenic beauty, rivers and forests. It is an area where the local people have a rich and colorful heritage. The reserves have numerous permanent springs and a wealth of wildlife which includes leopard, hippo, elephant, lion, reticulated giraffe, gravy's zebra and crocodile in the EwasoNyiro river. Over 365 species of birds have been identified in the sanctuaries.

Lake Nakuru
We depart the lodge soon after breakfast and continue with our Kenya and Tanzania wildlife safari. Proceed to Lake Nakuru National park. Lunch en route followed by an afternoon game drives as the pick lake. The park covers 180 sq km and is home to warthogs, waterbuck, buffaloes, reedbucks, and the occasional leopard. White and black rhinos were introduced to the park some years ago and you will find white rhino at the southern end. The park has also retained its reputation as an ornithologists’ delight with more than 400 species of bird found here.

Masai Mara
Our 3rd safari destination in our Kenya and Tanzania Wildlife Safari is the famous Masai Mara National Reserve. Depart the camp soon after breakfast and drive via the scenic floor of the Great Rift Valley to Masai Mara. Lunch at the camp before proceeding for evening game drives. Dinner and overnight stay at Enkorok Mara Camp.

Masai mara
We will spend 2 days exploring the Masai Mara, with its abundance of large mammals and diverse birdlife. We have the option to either have full and complete days out in the field when lunch can be served out on the savannah or we can return to camp for lunch.
Big cats are a very prominent feature of the Masai Mara and also include Cheetahs and Leopards, both of which are fairly straightforward to find here. We are definitely at ‘Predator Central’ here and there can be few.

Lake Victoria
Our Kenya and Tanzania Wildlife Safari will continue to Tanzania via Isebania Border proceed to Speke bay lodge where you spend the afternoon fishing or taking a boat ride at an extra cost. Speke Bay Lodge is located on the south eastern shore of Lake Victoria in Tanzania, East Africa. It is 15 kilometers from the Serengeti National Park. Speke Bay is part of Speke Gulf, named after the famous explorer John Hanning Speke, who, in 1858, discovered Lake Victoria to be the source of the Nile. Embraced by savannah, the Lodge looks like a small village, stretched out along the shores of the lake.

Serengeti National Park
On day 8 of our Kenya and Tanzania Wildlife Safari, we enter Serengeti via Ndabaka gate for a full day game drives, we drive south and west to the western corridor of the great Serengeti via Ndabaka Gate with a picnic lunch. Dinner and overnight stay at Thorn Tree tented camp or similar.

Serengeti is Africa’s most famous and Tanzania’s largest park covering 14,736 sq km and is adjoining with the Masai Mara National reserve in Kenya. With a wildebeest population of about 2 million and several other hoofed species.

Ngorongoro crater
Morning game drives then return to the camp for breakfast proceed south to the magnificent Ngorongoro crater via the historical Olduvai Gorge whilst game watching only interrupted by a picnic lunch en route.
Dinner and overnight stay at Ngorongoro Rhino Lodge or similar
The Olduvai Gorge cuts through rock beds layered in time sequence from 2 million years ago to the present. It is here where humanoid bones have been found dating back to over 1.75 million years including a direct ancestor of modern man.
Fossil footprints (over three million years old) have also been found here and are the most ancient footprints yet discovered.

Depart
Breakfast at leisure then drive to Arusha to arrive by 1200 hrs lunch on own account later drop off at the airport to board your departure to Zanzibar beach or back home. End of our memorable Explore Kenya and Tanzania wildlife safari.
