Fly from Zanzibar to the endless plains of Serengeti National Park

Early morning, you will be picked from your hotel in Zanzibar and transferred to the airport for your flight to Serengeti Kogatende airstrip. Arriving at the airstrip you will meet your driver guide who will introduce you to the beautifully Serengeti Park.
Lunch will be served at the bush while enjoying the sounds of birds and animals. Later you will proceed to your camp for an overnight.

Full time along Mara River for Migration and river crossing chances

After breakfast you will head out to make the most of the day. Spend your time along Mara river, exploring the northern and southern banks, waiting for possible crossing. Watching the energy build until the final amazing crossing of the river. From July - October is the when the wildebeest are in the northern Serengeti plains, and you will have a chance of seeing up to thousands crossing the great Mara River. This is the annual migration of giant herds of grazers across Northern Tanzania and Kenya is a truly spectacular event. Over two million wildebeest, zebras and gazelles move through the Serengeti and Masai Mara ecosystems in search of green pasture, in a regular pattern. Enjoy the excellent views of the southern Maasai Mara plains towards the north and beautiful sunset towards the west. After a wonderful day experience, you will go for evening leisure, dinner and overnight at your accommodation.

Final time in Serengeti - Fly back to Zanzibar

Wake up before the sun rises, The Bush never sleeps. The early morning drive is a particularly good time to bring you close to the wildlife, just when the action is at its most exciting. Later you will enjoy an enroute game on your way to Kogatende airstrip for your flight back to Zanzibar.
