Drive to Lake Mburo National Park

Depart from the Airport or your hotel early in the morning to start your safari. You will drive past many small towns, villages and farms, trading centres and roadside markets. Make a stop at the Equator crossing in Kayabwe for some classic Uganda Equator photography.

You will reach Lake Mburo just around lunchtime. After your lunch and check-in start your adventure.

Head out for the afternoon boat cruise on Lake Mburo. The boat cruise is great for closer encounters where you see hippos and crocodiles as well as a variety of aquatic birds including Pelicans, herons, fish eagles and perhaps the rare finfoot and shoebill. Watch out for crocodiles and schools of hippos during the two-hour cruise.

From the boat cruise, you will return to your lodge for leisure and your overnight stay.
