Day 1

Arusha to Tarangire National Park

You will begin our 140-kilometer safari from Arusha to Tarangire National Park (8:30 am - 10:30 am) after breakfast. The rich wildlife population of Tarangire National Park is well-known, and it is especially striking during the dry season, which runs from June to September. In search of water, thousands of animals, including oryx, buffalos, and wildebeest, migrate from the arid Maasai steeple to the Tarangire River during this time. Predators such as lions, leopards, and others trail the herds. Over 500 different kinds of birds can be found in Tarangire. After lunch, you'll go on a game-viewing drive in the late afternoon, and spend the night and dinner at Lodge.

Day 2

Central Serengeti National Park

Central Serengeti National Park

Following a leisurely breakfast, you'll set out at 8:30 am to cover the 210km via the Ngorongoro Conservation Area on your way to Serengeti National Park. You can choose to go to Olduvai Gorge, which is regarded as the two million-year-old cradle of mankind—the hominids. During the game drive, you'll visit the expansive Serengeti plains, which are home to many predators, large game, the great migration, and Nile crocodiles. You'll make your way to Matawi Tented Camp for dinner and an overnight stay at 6:30 p.m.

Day 3

Central to Northern Serengeti National Park

Central to Northern Serengeti National Park

You will enjoy morning and afternoon game drives in the park following breakfast. You will carry on with your game viewing to the northeast of the park in the afternoon. The main route used by the Serengeti wildebeest migration has passed through the Lobo Area. You will spend the evening and night at Kontiki Lodge.

Day 5

You will travel from the Serengeti to the edge of the Ngorongoro Crater after breakfast. You will get up early for a game drive in the Serengeti before returning to the campsite for breakfast. Following check-out, you will head toward your lodging for dinner and the night with a packed lunch and take in the scenery while driving.

Day 6

Ngorongoro Crater to Arusha

Ngorongoro Crater to Arusha

After breakfast in the early hours, you'll go on game drives on the crater floor. This amazing caldera is home to the Big Five: the lion, buffalo, elephant, leopard, and rhino. There are also zebras, hippos, wildebeest, hyenas, and other animals that live here. Among the birds are vultures, geese, storks, flamingos on Soda Lake, and more. Your lunch will be provided at the Hippo Pool at the Ngoitoktok Swamp picnic site, which is located in the crater. You will drive back to Arusha after lunch.
