Nairobi - Masai Mara

Nairobi - Masai Mara

The safari starts after breakfast. You will be picked up from your hotel around 7:30 am, then proceed to the departure point at the office. Other guests who will be doing the same safari, will be joining us. We will then depart to the Masai Mara National Reserve with a stopover at the Great Rift Valley viewpoint. We normally spend 30 minutes here to give you some information on how the Rift Valley was formed. We will then proceed to the town of Narok, which is famous for the Maasai people. You will have a hot lunch here, and afterwards, you will proceed to Masai Mara.

On arrival, you will be received by our Masai Mara staff, who will assist you with checking into the camp. You will then leave for an afternoon game drive, which starts immediately upon your arrival. Later, you will return to the hotel for dinner and an overnight stay.

Masai Mara Exclusive Drive

After breakfast at 6:30 am, we will have a full day of game drives. We depart to Masai Mara with a packed picnic lunch, as we will be exploring this world wonder all day. This game reserve is Kenya's finest wildlife sanctuary. Including migrants, well over 450 species of animals have been recorded here. The Mara plains are filled with migrating wildebeest and zebra, and there is also resident wildlife year-round. The Mara's gentle, fertile climate bounded by the Rift Valley offers perhaps the richest stocked reserve set within some 1,672 sq km - an unlimited wildlife spectacle. Located 268km west of Nairobi, the emphasis here is on the game. Herds of immense elephants browse among lions, buffalos, Thompson's gazelles, zebras, etc.

After exploring the park, return to the hotel for dinner and an overnight stay.
