Day 1

Transfer to Murchison Falls National Park

You'll have a morning breakfast at the hotel around Kampala. Thereafter, you'll drive towards Murchison Falls National Park, you will go through the Luwero triangle, stopover at the Ziwa Rhino Sanctuary home to various rhinos, and also en route in Masindi for lunch as you head to the park. You'll check in at the lodge and relax in the evening.

In the morning, you'll have an early breakfast and proceed to the park for the game drive. You will be able to view various animals such as elephants, buffaloes, antelopes, giraffes, lions, and also different bird species among others. After lunch, you'll go for a boat cruise during the afternoon on the Nile River. Later, you'll proceed for a hike to the top of the falls where you will be in line to see the Nile and how it makes its way through the narrow gap. After meeting your driver guide you'll drive back to the lodge. You'll have dinner and an overnight stay.

Day 3

Transfer to Kibale National Park

Transfer to Kibale National Park

On this day, you will enjoy your early morning breakfast at your lodge. Thereafter, you'll drive to Kibale National Park. On your way, you wouldn’t want to miss out on the beautiful countryside endowed with the Albertine escarpments so you will pass via Hoima to Fort Portal. You'll stop over in Masindi for lunch. After lunch, you'll continue to Kibale National Park, which is one of Africa’s great rain forests, this park is home to 13 primate species such as chimpanzees, red-tailed monkeys, vervet monkeys, and birds such as rumped tinker birds, green-breasted pitta, yellow spotted nicator, among others. You'll arrive at the park, then check in at the lodge, relax, and have dinner in the evening.

Chimpanzee Tracking and a Visit to Bigodi Wetland Sanctuary

You'll wake up early enough and have breakfast. After breakfast, you'll proceed to the park headquarters with a packed lunch from the lodge for the briefing about chimpanzee tracking. Later, you'll enter the amazing rain forest to look for the chimpanzees, meeting them will be one of the most amazing experiences as you will enjoy watching them play around, feed young ones, and the males guarding the territories. After that, you'll enjoy your packed lunch in the wild, in the afternoon after tracking, you'll visit the Bigodi swamp where you will be able to see some other primates like the mongoose, bush pigs, baboons, and otters.
