Longido - Ketumbeni

After pick up in Arusha, you will drive to Longido. Here, you will start hiking, and the car will transport your luggage. The hike will take like 5-6 hours and you will see giraffes, zebras, impalas, and gerenuk (antelope). The hike will lead you through the forest and scattered areas. You will have lunch somewhere in the bush, where the car will be waiting for you. After lunch, there is an option, still hiking or the car can take you to the campsite.

Ketumbeni Mountain

Early in the morning, you will leave the campsite and start hiking. On the way to the mountain, you will see nice views of the Longido mountain, the life of the Maasai, and animals like giraffes, zebras, and baboons.
On top of the mountain, there is your campsite with a magnificent view of the surrounding volcano. You will see Oldonyo Lengia, Kerimasi, and Gelai Mountain. Sundown will be fabulous. Your cook will prepare dinner.

Ketumbeni Mountain - Kale

After breakfast, you are going to walk down the mountain and will pass Maasai bomas, Maasai boys taking care of their livestock, wildebeest, zebras, and a lot of birds. You will be walking for 4-5 hours and then lunch will be served at the mission house in Kale. In the afternoon, you can relax and in the evening visit a small Maasai village, Gelai.
Dinner will be served at the mission house.

Mission House - Kaldera

After breakfast, you will hike up and down for 5-6 hours. You will see a nice environment with the volcanic craters in the area because this is all part of the crater highlands. You will be hiking on the southeastern edge of Lake Natron in the East African Rift. You will sleep tonight in a Maasai boma. A camp will be set up for you.

Maasai Boma - Hot Springs in Lake Natron

Today, you will pass the African Grand Canyon and small Serengeti while you see wildebeest, zebras, ostriches, and giraffes. You will walk for 4-5 hours and end at the hot springs of Lake Natron. After lunch, you can take a swim in the hot springs where the fish nibble your feet. You can enjoy the beautiful view of Lake Natron and see flamingos. Your dinner will be served at the campsite.

Hot Springs in Lake Natron - Engaresero

After an early breakfast, you will walk to the shores of Lake Natron. Again you will pass Serengeti, where you can encounter a lot of animals. Lunch will be served at Lake Natron Maasai guesthouse. After lunch, you will hike to the waterfalls. Thereafter, you will drive to the lake to see sundown. Your dinner will be served at the guesthouse.

Serengeti National Park

After an early breakfast, you will drive to Serengeti to see the most famous national park in Tanzania. You will see lions, zebras, giraffes, elephants, buffaloos etc. You will do the whole day a game drive and a lunch box is included. Your dinner will be served at a tented lodge.
