Zanzibar to Serengeti

Get up early and enjoy breakfast, then drive to Northern Serengeti with a packed lunch box, to enjoy around the Mara River, where the Great Migration is happening.

Your safari guide will find the best viewpoint for sightings of the migration. Witness the migration unfold and observe battles between crocodiles in the river and wildebeest maneuvering to cross the river. In addition, look out for other predators like lions, leopards, and cheetahs.

The Great Migration is the largest herd movement of wildebeests, zebra, and other animals as they trek between Serengeti and the Masai Mara in Kenya. The best time to visit the area and experience the migration is from July to early October every year.

Game Drive in Northern Serengeti

Wake up early, enjoy breakfast, and head out for more sightings of the migration. Early mornings are the best time for game viewing as the animals are more active in the early morning than later in the day when it gets hot.

After lunch, continue with the game drive as you follow the migration to Central Serengeti, where we will stop for our overnight stay.

Departure to Zanzibar

After breakfast, your driver will come to pick you up and transfer you to the airstrip for your flight to Zanzibar.
