You will travel to the Serengeti, the most well-known national park in the world, after eating an early breakfast. Even though the drive is lengthy, it is quite amazing. The first time you see the Serengeti is an experience you won't soon forget. You will see why the park's name means "endless plains" in the local tongue as you make your way across it. The plains of this 6,900 sq. mile (18,000 sq. km) park stretch to the horizon, challenging your sense of space and time. Numerous antelope species, hundreds of thousands of zebras, and two million wildebeests make their home there during the Great Migration. Additionally, it is the preferred location to view hyenas, leopards, cheetahs, and lions. Animals crossing rivers in several well-known television moments have been taken at this park for filming.

Day 4

You will take early morning game drives in the Serengeti National Park before returning to the camp to unwind and have breakfast. After that, you will head out for a picnic lunch and a full day of game viewing. You will spend the night and dinner at Seronera Campsite.

Tanzania's biggest park is dominated by the spectacle of predator versus prey. Pride of golden-maned lions feast on the profusion of low-lying grazers. While cheetahs prey heavily on the plains in the southeast, lone leopards lurk in the acacia trees along the Seronera River. Here you may find all three of the African jackal species, which is almost unique, as well as the spotted hyena and several other secretive tiny predators like the gorgeous serval cat and the insectivorous aardwolf.

The main feature of the Ngorongoro Conservation Authority is the Ngorongoro Crater, the world's largest inactive, intact, and unfilled volcanic caldera. The crater, which formed when a large volcano exploded and collapsed on itself two to three million years ago, is 610 metres (2,000 feet) deep and its floor covers 260 square kilometres (100 square miles). Estimates of the height of the original volcano range from 4,500 to 5,800 metres (14,800 to 19,000 feet) high. The elevation of the crater floor is 1,800 metres (5,900 feet) above sea level.
