After breakfast, we take a game drive while heading to Central Serengeti with a picnic lunch.

Serengeti is located in northern Tanzania and is a World Heritage Site, occupying an area of around 15,000 square kilometers. With over 2 million herbivores, 4,000 lions, 1,000 leopards, 550 cheetahs and some 500 bird species, this area has massive herds of migratory wildebeest and zebra during the Dry season. However, the northern Serengeti also supports abundant resident wildlife including lion, elephant, hippo, giraffe, crocodile and the rare oribi antelope.

After breakfast, we continue the game drive in Central Serengeti with a picnic lunch.

Day 3

Central Serengeti National Park

Wake up early and enjoy breakfast. This is the best time to witness the migration since the wild animals are very active in the early morning. Then, continue with a game drive with a picnic lunch box in northern Serengeti, with a particular eye on the great migration. Later, we drive back to Central Serengeti, where we stop overnight.

Serengeti National Park is well known for its great migration. The great migration is the largest herd movement of wildebeest, zebra, and other animals crossing the Mara River to Masai Mara in Kenya. The migration crosses the Mara River, which is full of crocodiles. The best time to visit is from July to early October.
