In the morning after breakfast you will embark on your journey to the western side of the country. You will stop at the Equator Crossing line for interesting practical experiments/demonstrations. There are only 13 countries in the world that are crossed by the equator, and Uganda is one of them. Watch and listen to the site guide as he demonstrates interesting facts using water.
You will proceed with the journey and you will have lunch along the way. After lunch you will proceed with the drive up to your Lodge or Hotel.

Gorilla Trekking
In the morning after breakfast, you will proceed to the park headquarters for briefing, afterwards you will be allocated a gorilla group to visit. You will be led by the park ranger in to the forest where you will meet these gentle giants. On your way through the trekking you will encounter different flora and fauna.
Once you meet the Gorilla family you be allowed a one hour stay with the group and it will be a once in time memorable moment as you look in the brown eyes of these great Apes.
Mgahinga boasts of over 76 mammals which include elephants, giant forest hog, bush pigs, bush back. Buffalos, leopards, A bird checklist of over 180 species including the 14 endemic Albertine rift notably the Kivu ground thrush and turaco.

Drive back to Kampala /Entebbe Airport
In the morning after breakfast, you will start off your drive heading back to Kampala or Entebbe International Airport depending on your Flight plan. Along the way will be lunch and a last stop over at the Uganda Equator for souvenir shopping as you say Good bye to Uganda.
