2 travelers on Start dateArusha to Tarangire National Park
This morning, your guide will pick you up from your lodge/hotel and drive straight to Tarangire National Park for a full day game drive. The park is famed for having the highest concentration of elephants in the world, seen among its spectacular baobab trees that are suspected to live for hundreds of years. The park is named after the Tarangire River, the only water source for the animals during the dry season, attracting lots of wildlife. Its many river circuits and game drive loops will allow us to see plenty of animals on the river banks in search of water. After a full day of fantastic game drives in Tarangire, we will transfer to our campsite for an overnight stay.

Ngorongoro Crater
After an early breakfast at the camp, we will continue our safari by entering the Ngorongoro Conservation Area and descending into the crater for an exciting half day of game viewing. The crater is the 8th wonder of the world and a designated World Heritage Site. The crater is a collapsed volcano, home to more than 30,000 animals, including all of Africa’s Big Five (yes, even the critically endangered black rhino). We will also have the option of visiting a Masai Boma (village) should you choose to see how this magnificent community lives in an ancient manner. After the game drive, we ascend from the crater and drive back to Arusha. If your flight is scheduled for the same day, we will drop you off at Kilimanjaro International Airport or Arusha Airport if your next stop is in Zanzibar.
