Game Viewing Drives in Masai Mara
This day offers a full-day game viewing drive. You wake up to the sights and sounds of Masai Mara. After breakfast, you will embark on a game-viewing drive and explore this part of the Northern Serengeti Ecosystem where the great wildebeest migration takes place during the months of July - October every year. Months before the actual migration the herds ‘assemble’ in Serengeti in readiness for the crossing into Masai Mara. The plain is covered with these animals. Grunts and other animal sounds are heard, and territorial fights are commonplace.
Masai Mara is also home to very many other animals which we will explore. At every sighting of animals, we allow you enough time to watch, take photographs as you internalize these moments. Depending on the sightings, you may be able to hear to sounds as the animals grunt and chew.
We also drive to the hippo pool to view the hippos in their domain. We then return to the hotel in the evening as we enjoy the sunset.

Aside from the widespread velvet monkey and olive baboon, the beautiful black-and-white colobus monkey can sometimes be found in the acacia forest. If you’re lucky, you will see the tree-climbing lions.
