Fly to Khwai in the Delta and Sango Safari Camp

You will transfer to Kasane Airport and board a light aircraft to fly to the Khwai Community area in the delta. On arrival, a guide from Sango Safari Camp will be waiting to transport you to the camp. Ideally located along the Khwai River, Sango is a comfortable tented safari camp on the outskirts of Khwai village. The Khwai River provides a year-round water source, attracting one of Botswana's most fantastic wildlife concentrations and allowing Sango Safari Camp to offer land- and water-based activities.

Professional guides take you on twice-daily game drives in search of the area's predators, big game, and other wildlife. You can also enjoy a canoe (mokoro) trip to enjoy the aquatic and birdlife that is so prolific in this area.

The main area has a plunge pool, dining area, lounge, and a viewing deck over the river. Each safari tent is en-suite with open-air showers and a private deck area where you can enjoy the views.

Fly to Okavango Delta and Moremi Crossing Camp

You will fly in a small aircraft to Moremi Crossing Camp, an intimate, affordable tented camp, located on the southern part of Chief's Island in the heart of the Okavango Delta. This is a particularly picturesque part of the Delta and the landcape changes with the water levels. Built on a palm fringed island, surrounded by seasonal floodplains, this eco friendly camp has beautiful views over the Delta. Back to basics walking safaris are the main activity here, along with seasonal mokoro and game drives at times of low water levels.

All safari tents are on raised decks, each with their own veranda overlooking Chief's Island, with ensuite bathrooms and outdoor shower heated by solar power. The main building has a large open plan deck that has a spectacular view over the Boro River onto Chief's Island. The dining room, bar and lounge are covered by a large thatched roof that hugs the tree line. Various small private lounge areas have been created for comfort, privacy and spaciousness.
