Day 1-2

On arrival in Maun, you will be met and shown to your small aircraft for a flight to the Savuti region of the Chobe National Park, one of the most dynamic ecosystems in Botswana. Spend 3 nights in this dryer landscape in search of lions, leopards, elephants, buffalos, hyenas and much more.
Savute Safari Lodge is a luxurious, friendly lodge with a fab team delivering an excellent safari experience. Newly updated, the main areas overlook an active waterhole and the Savute Channel. The comfy lounge and library areas are thoughtfully laid out. The swimming pool and deck area are wonderful and ideal for relaxing for a few hours.
Each of the thatched chalets has a lounge area and ensuite bathrooms. Each private deck with comfy loungers, overlooks the waterhole.
Explore the Savuti on twice-daily game drives with experienced local guides, stopping at waterholes and the marsh area and seeing the ancient San rock paintings at Gubatsa Hills.

Day 3-4

You will fly from Savuti to Moremi and stay at Camp Xakanaxa for 3 nights. Idyllic in its location along the river at Xakanaxa Lagoon, Camp Xakanaxa is one of the few safari camps offering you an authentic, year-round Okavango Delta land and water safari experience.
Spend your days with experienced local guides on game drives in the Moremi or boat cruises in the Okavango Delta. The diverse habitat ensures prolific sightings of elephants, buffalos, hyenas, giraffes, hippos, wildebeests, kudus, lechwes, lions and leopards, among many others. Birding is spectacular, especially in the spring and summer months when the migrants are breeding.
Each of the classic safari tents is en suite and well laid out. Each tent has a private deck and sitting space that overlooks the lagoon, affording spectacular views from your room. The main areas extend to the river on raised platforms to maximise the views and boast a lounge, dining area, fire pit, and pool.

Day 5-6

Fly from the Moremi into the Okavango Delta and spend 2 nights at the utterly idyllic and newly revamped Xugana Island Lodge, a unique and exclusive African safari camp. Each lovely safari tent is built on raised platforms with private sitting areas that overlook the Delta's lagoons. Each tent is spacious and en suite. After your morning activities, you will be transferred to the airstrip for a flight back to Maun. Arrive in time for your onward travel.
