You will visit the Kigali Genocide Museum to pay your last respect for victims of 1994 Rwandan Genocide against tutsi before Leaving the lively capital, you drive north-west through lush hills & bustling market towns for approximately 4 hours, to the stunning Mgahinga Gorilla National Park, Uganda. After an early morning breakfast, transfer to the ranger station for Gorilla Trekking Briefing on dos and don’ts while you will be interacting with gorillas, afterwards you will be accompanied by a senior ranger guide & hike into the forest in search of gorillas. Once you find them, you will be allowed to stay with them for an hour & After the experience return back to the lodge. Overnight at Travelers Rest Hotel or Similar.

Please note that this is an optional 2nd Gorilla trekking & a ticket costs additional $700, alternatively you’ll go for golden monkey trekking Mgahinga Gorilla NP. After an early morning breakfast, transfer to the ranger station for Gorilla Trekking Briefing on dos & don’ts while you will be interacting with gorillas, afterwards you will be accompanied by a senior ranger guide & hike into the forest in search of gorillas. Day 4

Nkuringo is on the Southern side of the rainforest whereas Buhoma is on the Northern side, The drive between Buhoma & Nkuringo can take about 7 – 8 hours, depending on road & weather conditions, a more pleasant alternative to driving is a walking safari through the rainforest. There are two walking trails between Nkuringo & Buhoma:
The Ivy River Trail: This trail starts off with a 7km walk along a murram road with the rainforest on the left & the river on the right. Upon reaching the forest, the trail ascends & descends gently through beautiful areas of rainforest. A wide diversity of wildlife can be spotted during the walk, including monkeys, duikers, birds & many colourful butterflies. The Ivy River trail takes about 6.5 hours in total. Upon completion of the walking safari at Buhoma meet with your driver guide & transfer to Ishasha Sector, Queen Elizabeth National Park. Overnight at Enjojo Lodge or similar.

After an early morning breakfast enjoy the game drives in ishasha Sector of Queen Elizabeth National Park before proceeding to the northern sector of the park at Katunguru. Ishasha sector & her plains open Savannah is famous for tree climbing lions though other animals like elephants, buffaloes, hippopotamuses, antelopes and much more will also been seen during the game drive. After an early morning breakfast, participate in a morning game drive. The drive through the Kasenyi Plains which is a spot for predators hunting the prey. The game drive provides you with an excellent opportunity to view animals such as jackals, bushbucks, forest hogs, Buffaloes, elephants & kob as they will be going about their daily routines. In the afternoon, head to a fantastic launch cruise on the Kazinga Channel & observe beautiful birds & wildlife. A Ugandan wildlife safari without a boat cruise safari on Kazinga Channel is considered incomplete. The channel attracts large concertation of wildlife & birdlife to quench their thirst & this boat launch safari would certainly expose you to these creatures. After a leisurely morning breakfast, Transfer to Kibale National Park. The drive provides you with a chance to see beautiful, cool Crater Lakes & the drive has got the Great views of Rwenzori Mountain ranges in Rwenzori Mountains NP. Mount Stanley at 5,109m is both Uganda & Democratic Republic of Congo highest peak in addition to Ruenzori mountains being the third highest peak in Africa after Mount Kilimanjaro in Tanzania & Mount kenya in Kenya. The Uganda chimpanzee trekking experience is a unique opportunity that will allow you to follow a chimpanzee group in its daily activities. Accompanying Kibale reserve researchers & rangers, you will be on the forest floor to watch the chimps search for their fruits & vocalizing. Then you will follow them for an hour observing the full gamut of their behavior. You will be part of the Uganda Wildlife Authority initiative to trek the chimpanzees without changing their natural environment. It’s one of the great moments of your safari! In the afternoon do the community & swamp walk offered by the member of Bigodi Community. It’s one way of learning about the traditional cultural of Africa. After an early breakfast, visit the top of Murchison Falls, the majestic falls, where the Nile crashes through a 7 metres gorge to fall 45m. The numerous scenic viewpoints are a spectacular & the most impressive view is of the falls. The world most powerful falls are one of the highlights of murchison Falls NP afterwards proceed for another stop over at Ziwa Rhino Sanctuary & Wildlife Ranch for rhino trekking before heading to Entebbe targeting for your late night outbound flight. End.
