Following breakfast, we descend 600m into the breathtaking Ngorongoro Crater for a morning half-day game drive. Recognized as one of the most densely populated wildlife areas in Africa, this crater is home to approximately 30,000 animals, including some of Tanzania's last remaining black rhinos. With a consistent water supply and ample fodder throughout the year, Ngorongoro National Park boasts a diverse array of wildlife, featuring herds of wildebeest, zebra, buffalo, eland, warthog, hippo, and majestic African elephant.
The park's allure extends to its impressive concentration of predators, such as lions, hyenas, jackals, cheetahs, and the elusive leopards, requiring a keen eye to spot. A delightful picnic lunch within the crater enhances our experience before we return to Arusha or Moshi, concluding our African safari adventure.
