1-Day Uganda Lake Victoria Fishing Trip

After an early morning breakfast at your hotel, a safari guide will meet and greet you before transferring you to the jetty station for a boat trip to the fishing spot on Lake Victoria. It is about 45-50 minutes to get to the well-known spot for fishing, and here, we expect to hook Nile perch. These giants weigh 5-25kg, although heavier fish have been found. The primary fishing method is trolling (with rules). Trips typically begin at 9:00am or 1:00pm and return at 12:30pm or 5:00pm. A half day trip lasts about 4 hours, while a full day trip lasts about 8 hours. A picnic lunch will be provided with a cooler box for beers, mineral water and sodas. You can also enjoy tea and coffee during your fishing trip. At the end of your trip, you will return to Entebbe, marking the end of the fishing trip.
