Day 1

You will start your day with a pick-up from your hotel. Then, you will begin your journey to Queen Elizabeth in a comfortable 4WD standard safari vehicle. You will have a brief stopover for a picturesque at the Uganda Equator line mark at Kayabwe. Then, you'll proceed to have lunch en route in Mbarara and onwards to Queen Elizabeth National Park arriving in the late afternoon. You will check in at the lodge. If time allows, you'll go for an evening short game drive. Overnight at Twin Lakes Safari Lodge or similar.

Day 2

After an early morning breakfast, you will participate in a morning game drive. The drive through the Kasenyi Plains which is a spot for predators hunting their prey. The game drive provides you with an excellent opportunity to view animals such as jackals, bushbucks, forest hogs, buffaloes, elephants, and kobs as they go about their daily routines. In the afternoon, you will head to a fantastic launch cruise on the Kazinga Channel and observe beautiful birds and wildlife. A Ugandan wildlife safari without a boat cruise safari on the Kazinga Channel is considered incomplete. The channel attracts a large concertation of wildlife and birdlife to quench their thirst and this boat launch safari would certainly expose you to these creatures. After the boat safari, you will enjoy the evening game viewing as you return to the lodge. Overnight at Twin Lakes Safari Lodge or similar.

An early morning breakfast will be followed by a transfer to Kyambura Gorge for chimpanzee trekking. Thereafter, you'll transfer to Bwindi/Mgahinga Gorilla National Park ahead of the gorilla trekking safari. Overnight at Travelers Rest Hotel or similar.

Day 4

Gorilla Trekking Bwindi Impenetrable NP - Lake Bunyonyi

After an early morning breakfast, you'll transfer to the ranger station for Uganda Gorilla Trekking Briefing on dos and don’ts while you will be interacting with gorillas. Afterward, you will be accompanied by a senior ranger guide and hike into the forest in search of gorillas. Once you find them, you will have an hour with them. You'll have time to sit & observe them at very close quarters of 10 meters. After the experience transfer to Lake Bunyonyi. Overnight at Lake Bunyonyi Overland camp or similar.
