Arrive in Livingstone where you are met by the Chundukwa team for the transfer to the lodge. You will chat to the manager who will show you around the beautiful property and plan your days. Your stay includes 1 activity per day, this can be customized as per your preferences.

Fly to South Luangwa and start your safari
After breakfast, transfer to Livingstone airport for the local flight to Mfuwe, to reach South Luangwa National Park.
On arrival you are met by the Chikunto safari guide and depart on the transfer/game drive through the park to reach the lodge. Relax before the afternoon game drive and back at the lodge for dinner and night.
With panoramic views out over the Luangwa River and flanked by rolling plains, plateaus, and miombo vegetation the camp is located in an area of distinctive natural beauty and in a location renowned for it’s density and variety of wildlife.
There is a saltwater counter-current swimming pool, unique to South Luangwa. With the pump switched to level 2 it is like you are swimming against the tide in a permanent infinity pool.
Directly in front of the swimming pool and deck area there is a waterhole providing an ideal opportunity for bird watching, wildlife viewing and for photography opportunities.

South Luangwa National Park is celebrated for its incredible biodiversity, including over 60 animal species and over 400 birdlife species. The park, known to many as the Valley of the Leopard is especially renowned for its large populations of predators, including lions, wild dogs and the eponymous leopards. In addition, large numbers of elephants, buffalos, hippos and a variety of antelope offers visitors unparalleled opportunities for wildlife viewing.
