8-Day Safari to Kafue and Lower Zambezi National Parks

Transfer to Kafue National Park

You'll be picked up from Lusaka Airport or your accommodation in Lusaka and transferred to Kafue National Park, Kasabushi Camp. The transfer takes around 4 hours. In the late afternoon, you will enjoy your first sundowner on the Kafue River. The Camp is beautifully set on the banks of the river.
Your overnight stay will be in Chalets at Kasabushi Camp.

Kafue National Park

You will explore this area of Kafue National Park on game drives and a boat cruise (dependent on the water level, 2 activities per day). You'll enjoy the hours in between the game activities next to the natural plunge pool on the banks of the river.
Your overnight stay will be at Kasabushi Camp.

Lusaka

After a last game drive in Kafue National Park, you will leave the wilderness and drive back to Lusaka, the capital of Zambia. Time to do some shopping for the next day in the bush.
You will stay overnight in a Lukasa Guesthouse outside of town. Dinner will be prepared by our host (not included).

Lower Zambezi National Park

You will wake up early for breakfast and be driven through Lusaka and down the escarpment to the Zambezi Valley. You will be visiting Lower Zambezi Park which will be one of the highlights of your trip in Zambia. The Zambezi River on one side and the escarpment on the other form a wonderful backdrop for your wildlife viewing. We will take you on amazing game drives through the park. On one of the afternoons, you will do a boat cruise to watch the animals from the river.
Your overnight stay will be in Kasaka River Lodge (or similar) on the banks of the Zambezi River.
