7-Day Canoeing Safari and Lower Zambezi National Park

Zambezi Valley

After the pick up from your accommodation in Lusaka or the airport we drive through the city and can stop at a shopping mall if you want to buy some drinks and snacks for the next days. Then transfer down the escparpment to the Zambezi Valley, were we check in at Breezes Lodge. Overnight in Chalets, dinner at own expense.

Zambezi River

In the morning we prepare for the canoe safari. Your guide will give you a safety briefing, and then the adventure on the Zambezi River can start. You will paddle downstream with the current. Enjoy the scenery and exercise gently while watching the animals come to the river to drink. Participants are requested to set up their tents on their own. The canoeing will be a shared activity with other guests.
You will do wild camping on an island with no facilities.

Lower Zambezi National Park

The last day of canoeing will be day 4. After exiting the boats, your guide will pick you up and drive with our game-viewer vehicle to Kasaka River Lodge, your home for the next 3 nights. A visit to the Lower Zambezi Park is one of the highlights of Zambia. We will do game drives inside the national park.

After breakfast, we drive up the escarpment to Lusaka. You will be dropped off at the airport or your accommodation.
