7-Day Canoeing Safari and Lower Zambezi National Park

Lusaka

Upon your arrival at Lusaka Airport, we will pick you up and transfer you to Wild Dogs Lodge on the outskirts of town. We can stop at a shopping mall to prepare for the safari for the next few days. Dinner is served in the restaurant of the lodge (not included in the price).

You will overnight in a beautiful room at the lodge.

Zambezi River

On day 2, you will transfer down the escarpment to the starting point for our canoeing safari. Your guide will give you a safety briefing, and then the adventure on the Zambezi River can start. You will paddle downstream with the current. Enjoy the scenery and exercise gently while watching the animals come to the river to drink. Participants are requested to set up their tents on their own.

You will camp on the island.

Lower Zambezi National Park

The last day of canoeing will be day 4. After exiting the boats, your guide will pick you up and drive with our game-viewer vehicle to Kasaka River Lodge, your home for the next 3 nights. A visit to the Lower Zambezi Park is one of the highlights of Zambia. We will do game drives inside the national park.
