1-Day Gorilla Tracking in Bwindi Impenetrable Forest NP

Our professional driver-guide will meet you at your lodge in Kabale at 6:00 AM for an early departure to the Ruhija sector of Bwindi Impenetrable National Park. Upon arrival, you’ll join fellow trekkers for a comprehensive briefing and a cultural entertainment session. After the briefing, you’ll be assigned a gorilla family to track, accompanied by experienced rangers and trackers. Before heading into the forest, you’ll receive a packed lunch and drinking water to sustain you throughout the trek.
The adventure takes you deep into the jungle, offering a unique opportunity to spend one unforgettable hour observing mountain gorillas in their natural habitat. The trek typically lasts between 2 and 8 hours, depending on the gorillas’ movements.
At the end of the trek, you will be awarded a gorilla tracking certificate to commemorate this extraordinary experience. Your guide will transfer you back to Kabale or another destination as agreed upon.
