Embark on a crater game tour after breakfast by descending into the Ngorongoro Crater. Later, return to Karatu for an overnight stay at Bougainvillea safari Lodge. Breakfast, lunch, and dinner will be provided, along with a daily supply of drinking water per person.
Often referred to as the eighth Natural Wonder of the World, the Ngorongoro Crater stands as the largest intact crater globally. Over million years ago, the Ngorongoro volcano erupted, causing its walls to collapse. The sunken volcano floor formed a natural enclosure with towering walls reaching 600 meters. Now, spanning over 20 kilometers wide, the Ngorongoro Crater features vast areas of acacia forest, hippo-filled swamps, and open grasslands.
These diverse habitats host over 30,000 animals, including elephants, warthogs, flamingos, magnificent birdlife, the rare black rhinoceros, and various predatory cats. The Maasai can also be observed grazing their cattle alongside buffalo and wildebeest.
