Arusha - Tarangire National Park
Tarangire National Park is famous for its abundance of elephants and iconic baobab trees. The park is named after the Tarangire River, which traverses its landscape. Particularly stunning during the dry season (June-November), Tarangire's wildlife concentrations rival those of the Serengeti. This is due to the vast numbers of elephants and other animals who are drawn to the Tarangire River, their sole water source. With varied habitats and a consistent water supply from the river, the park is home to over 2,000 elephants and supports a diverse array of 500 bird species.

Ngorongoro Crater
The Ngorongoro Crater holds the distinction of being the world's largest intact crater. It formed approximately two million years ago from the eruption of the Ngorongoro volcano, which resulted in its walls collapsing. The sinking of the volcano floor formed a natural enclosure, enclosed by towering 600-meter walls. Extending over 19 kilometers in width, the Ngorongoro Crater now features expansive areas of acacia forest, swamps teaming with hippos, and open grasslands. Within these diverse habitats, a thriving community of over 30,000 animals resides, including elephants, warthogs, flamingos, a variety of magnificent bird species, the rare black rhinoceros, and all predatory cats. Additionally, one can observe the Maasai grazing their cattle alongside herds of buffalo and wildebeest.
