Embark on a journey to Tarangire National Park, a hidden gem in Africa that should be a must-visit for enthusiasts of wilderness and solitude.
The landscape of Tarangire is exceptionally diverse, adorned with ancient baobab trees and towering termite mounds. During the dry season, the harsh sun drains the moisture from the terrain, painting the earth a dusty red. In contrast, the wet season transforms the landscape into a lush expanse of dense bush and vibrant high grasses.
Renowned for its abundant elephant population, Tarangire is also the habitat for zebra, wildebeest, giraffe, waterbuck, baboons, dwarf mongoose, impala, buffalo, antelope, and fringe-eared oryx. Predators such as lion, cheetah, and leopard add to the park's diverse wildlife.
A full day of game driving awaits you in this remarkable setting, and you'll enjoy your overnight at Bougainvillea safari lodge.

Following an early breakfast, set out on a journey towards the renowned Serengeti National Park, often considered the most famous national park globally. Despite the lengthy drive, the journey itself is nothing short of spectacular.
For first-time visitors, the experience is truly unforgettable. As you venture deeper into the heart of the Serengeti, the meaning of its name becomes apparent – "endless plains" in the local language.
The Serengeti is the epicenter of the Great Migration, hosting a staggering 2 million wildebeests, hundreds of thousands of zebras, and various antelope species. It is also a prime location to spot big cats and formidable predators, including lions, cheetahs, leopards, and hyenas. Numerous iconic television scenes, such as the famous River Crossings, have been captured within the boundaries of this remarkable park.

On this day, we recommend an early wake-up call to embark on a morning game drive, a time when the animals are most active, and you can witness one of the most breathtaking sunrises.
Following the game drive, we'll return to the camp for a satisfying brunch before heading to Ngorongoro, often hailed as the 8th Wonder of the Natural World. The crater spans an impressive 102 square miles, surrounded by 2,000-foot-high walls, resembling a modern-day Noah's ark. This unique habitat hosts nearly every species of wildlife indigenous to East Africa.
Ngorongoro stands out as one of the few places on the continent where you can observe the elusive black rhino. The crater boasts a diverse landscape, including a river, swamps, a soda lake teeming with flamingos, a forest, and expansive open plains.
