Day 1
Arusha to Ndutu
Arusha to Ndutu
You will wake up for breakfast in your accommodation and later you will proceed with the game to the Ndutu area, situated in the Ngorongoro Conservation Area, part of the southern Serengeti eco-system. The area is famed for its short plain grass which is particularly rich in nutrients that sustain the migratory animals and whilst they have babies. Lake Ndutu is alkaline, like most of the other Rift lakes, however, the water is still drinkable and used by a wide array of local wildlife. The majority of the wildebeest migration can normally be found on the short-grass plains from December to April. The area is usually heavily populated with elephants, birds, and resident game. Your dinner and overnight stay will be at your accommodation.

Full-Day Game Drive at Southern Serengeti National Park
You've seen the incredible migration, and now you have more chances to watch this fantastic wildlife spectacle. Ndutu is part of both the Serengeti National Park and the Ngorongoro Conservation Area. After breakfast, you'll embark on a full-day game drive, following the migration, depending on where it is in the NCA or Serengeti. If you visit between December and March, you'll witness the plains turning into a birthing and nursery area for the young wildebeests, with lots of predators looking for an easy meal. Watching the circle of life in action is a truly unforgettable experience. Your game drive will end around 5 pm, and you'll return to your accommodation for dinner.

Southern Serengeti to Ngorongoro Crater
After breakfast, you will continue with the game heading to Ngorongoro Crater for game viewing on its floor. Ngorongoro Crater is a UNESCO World Heritage Site formed millions of years ago and inhabits more than 25,000 resident animals. Almost every East African Savannah animal species can be spotted in the grass grasslands and acacia forests including the Big Five (rhino, elephant, buffalo, lion, and leopard). Other animals around this crater floor include wildebeests, zebras, gazelles, and more than 500 bird species recorded in this area. If lucky, you might catch a glimpse of the endangered black rhinos through the grass.
Later, you will ascend the crater and head back to Arusha for your departure, then proceed to the airport for departure.
