Your tour will start from Entebbe at the hotel where your assigned professional tour driver-guide will receive you and then depart for Bwindi Impenetrable Forest National Park. Bwindi is a big habitat for mountain gorillas in Uganda, harboring over 310 of them, which is almost half of the world’s gorilla population (54.9%).
The drive will take you to southwest Uganda by road. You will cross the equator mark, then head to Mbarara city for lunch and refreshment. Thereafter, you will pass through the hilly terrain of western Uganda into Bwindi. You will arrive and check in to your accommodation and relax as you prepare for the Bwindi gorilla trekking experience the next day.

Gorilla Trekking Bwindi Impenetrable National Park
After breakfast, you will proceed to the rangers’ post. You will receive a briefing on the do's and don’ts during the trekking. You will then enter the Bwindi Forest for your adventure. The area offers a dramatic, steeply forested landscape and is incredibly dense. It is crisscrossed by numerous animal trails allowing access to tourists. The time taken and the terrain vary with the movements of these great primates. Once you have located a gorilla group, you will be allowed an hour in their presence. Observing these gentle but endangered giants is unforgettable.

Transfer to Kibale Forest National Park
You will transfer to Kibale Forest National Park, passing tea plantations along the way. This diverse forest boasts 13 species of primates such as the red Colobus monkey, grey-cheeked mangabey, red-tailed monkey, and the rare L’Hoest's monkey. There are over 335 bird species in the park, including some which are rare and endemic to the Albertine region and varying tracts of the tropical forest. You will arrive in the late afternoon or evening and check in at your accommodation, relax and enjoy dinner.

Morning Chimpanzee Tracking and Return back to Entebbe
After breakfast, proceed to the rangers’ post. You will receive a briefing on the do's and don’ts during the tracking and you will go for chimpanzee trekking and enjoy a wonderful forest experience with these habituated chimpanzees. These engaging apes are the closest species to human beings and are great to watch as they are playful both on the ground and in the trees. Thereafter, you will drive to Entebbe International Airport to connect with your onward late-evening
