Transfer to Kitugum

Your guide will pick you from the airport and start your Kidepo safari. You will have a long day in the car ahead of you, but you can enjoy the Ugandan landscape passing by the windows, where you can see villages & local markets. We'll be reaching Kitgum town where you will have a relaxed evening at the lodge.

Transfer to Kidepo Valley National Park

After breakfast, you make the last part of the journey to Kidepo Valley national park. This park is known as one of the last untouched wildernesses in Africa. You will reach the park in time for a game drive and then get to the lodge for lunch. After some relaxation, you head out for an evening game drive and have the chance of seeing for example giraffes, zebras, elephants, lions, and leopards. Then after the game drive your guide will drive you back to the lodge for relaxation.

Kidepo Valley National Park

Get up early to enjoy a morning game drive in the area of the Kanangorok hot springs. If you are lucky, you can see ostriches in this area. After lunch, it is time for a cultural experience visiting a Karamojong village. See how the locals live and learn about their culture. After the show you will be taken back to the lodge.

Transfer back through Gulu

This will be an interesting day in the car as you are traveling through the remotest parts of Uganda. You'll be able to see villages and nature passing by the window. Spend the night in Gulu, which is Uganda's second-biggest town, continue to the hotel for check-in.

Rhino Sanctuary and Transfer to Kampala

After breakfast, you start the journey back to Kampala. Along the way to Kampala, you will make a stop at Ziwa Rhino sanctuary to take a walk to see the rhinos, After the tracking you guide will drop you to the airport for air transfers.
