Day 1

You will fly from Zanzibar in the early morning to Mtemere Airstrip, where you will meet your driver guide. You start a game drive from there, viewing animals and enjoying the breathtaking environment. Enjoy lunch at a picnic site and refresh at a comfortable, safe spot with toilet service. After lunch, The drive guide will continue with the game drive and later on drop you off at Mtemere Airstrip for your flight back to Zanzibar Airport.

Nyerere (Selous) National Park boasts the largest concentration of wild animals and a rich collection of abundant and diverse wildlife. The fact that this park is new and largely less frequented by tourists means that the animals here tend to be less exposed to humans. Good numbers of big cats such as lions, leopards, and cheetahs are to be found here along with other large game such as elephants, rhinos, Buffaloes, Giraffes, Eland, Zebras, wildebeest, and other wildlife. Nyerere National Park is now the largest national park in Tanzania.
