Johannesburg to the Lowveld
Departing from Johannesburg at 08h30, our journey leads us on some of the most scenic roads down to the Lowveld region of South Africa, known as Mpumalanga. On route we will be stopping for a lunch stop in Dullstroom, one of seven spectacular destinations along the Highlands Meander of Mpumalanga. After our lunch stop we continue our journey to Hoedspruit.
We spend the night at a lodge, which is situated just outside the Kruger National Park, allowing us the opportunity to easily access the park the following morning to see animals and already start experiencing the beauty and wildlife of this country.

Today we get up early as we want to enter the Central Section of the Kruger National Park as soon as we can, for our full day of game viewing. The central section of the park offers the opportunity to see some different species of animals like Rhino, Wild Dogs, Herds of Buffalo and Elephant as well as other predators like Lion and Hyenas because this area usually has a bit more water, naturally attracting more animals.
Our day is dedicated for driving around in search of these animals; however we will stop regularly at some of the parks’ rest camps for some leg stretches and comfort breaks as well as some waterholes on route.
Late in the afternoon, we slowly make our way to our accommodation situated inside the Kruger National Park.
Please note accommodation within the park depends on availability at the respective accommodations.

We will spend another full day on safari where we will travel to different areas of the park to try and spot the elusive wildlife. We will be looking for signs of these creatures and hope to tick off most of the animals on our bucket list.
We have lunch in the park (own expense) and then continue to search for animals.
We exit the park in the late afternoon and head back to our accommodation in Hoedspruit.
