Zanzibar to Lake Manyara National Park

You’ll take a flight from Zanzibar to Arusha, where one of our Serengeti Wildlife Safaris guides will meet you for a scenic drive through a picturesque region. The journey to the Lake Manyara National Park gate takes about two hours. Known for its tree-climbing lions, Lake Manyara is a beautiful park located in Tanzania’s Rift Valley. After arriving, we’ll enjoy a 40-minute break at a lovely picnic area with restrooms, where you can savor a delicious lunch. Following an exciting game drive, we’ll head to Mto Wa Mbu, a vibrant town rich in culture and natural beauty. Here, you’ll spend a relaxing night, immersed in local experiences. This itinerary offers the perfect blend of wildlife adventure and cultural exploration, making for an unforgettable Tanzania safari experience.

Lake Manyara to Ngorongoro crater

On the second day of your Tanzania safari, you will begin with breakfast before heading to the Ngorongoro Crater. Early arrival increases your chances of spotting all the Big Five animals, including lions, elephants, buffaloes, rhinos, and leopards. The Ngorongoro Crater, a stunning caldera with a ring-like wall, spans 260 square kilometers and is home to more than 30,000 animals and over 500 species of birds. Following a thrilling game drive, we’ll take a 40-minute break at a picnic site near a hippo pool for lunch and bathroom use. Afterward, we’ll continue the drive back to Kilimanjaro Airport for your evening flight to Zanzibar. Arrival in Arusha is expected between 4:30 pm and 5:00 pm. This itinerary offers the perfect combination of safari experiences, wildlife viewing, and cultural exploration in Tanzania's most iconic locations, ensuring an unforgettable adventure then return to Zanzibar including flights in your package.
