Taita Hills Game Sanctuary - Amboseli National Park
You'll enjoy the early morning game drive as more animals are active, especially the predators as they hunt! We'll return to the lodge for breakfast, check out, and then drive to Amboseli National Park. It's a short 2-hour drive, and you can measure time and distance from the park by the appearance of the mighty Mount Kilimanjaro. The extraordinary summit stands at the park's southern vista and is a welcoming landmark seen throughout the park.
We'll take a leisurely game drive in this park known for its immense herds of elephants. This is possibly the best spot in Africa to view these noble giants, with guaranteed sightings! The park is known for its easy animal spotting, so we'll hopefully have a busy afternoon.
Toward evening, the clouds surrounding Kilimanjaro's peak may part, revealing its snowy summit. This is a perfect moment for photographs and a time to appreciate all the wonder surrounding us.

Amboseli National Park - Tsavo East National Park
We'll be up with the sun, rumbling out on an early morning game drive to catch the wildlife. This is the best time to view Mount Kilimanjaro, the tallest mountain in Africa, with its majestic peak watching out over the park. Later, after a full breakfast, we'll check out and head out on the Nairobi-Mombasa highway, journeying to Tsavo East National Park.
When you enter the gate at Tsavo East with its endless horizons and wild, rugged grasslands, you'll know you've come upon a piece of Africa's history. One of Kenya's old parks is the place of the legend of the famous and fierce Tsavo lions and other big game. You'll check in at Ashnil Aruba and have lunch.
We'll head out for an afternoon game drive at the park. The open land here makes animal spotting a more effortless and relaxed experience. Look for lion, leopard, Cape buffalo, and the park's great, red elephants, so called because they roll in the rusty-colored soil found here.
