Nairobi to Masai Mara National Reserve

You will depart for Masai Mara at 7:00 am (pick up point - Nairobi hotel) with stopovers at the Rift Valley viewpoint and Narok. You will arrive at the lodge in the afternoon and check in for lunch. At 4:00 pm, you will take your first thrilling game drive in the Masai Mara National Reserve, one of East Africa’s top safari destinations. Thereafter, you will return to the lodge late in the evening in time for dinner. You will enjoy a bonfire as you listen to some interesting Maasai stories.

Masai Mara National Reserve

This day will be spent game viewing in Kenya’s finest wildlife park, the Masai Mara National Reserve. Your full-day game drive will take you in search of Africa’s Big Five and other wildlife inhabiting this vast Kenyan game reserve.

Wherever you go in the Masai Mara, you will see wildlife such as Maasai giraffes, baboons, warthogs, bat-eared foxes, grey jackals, spotted hyenas, topis, impalas, hartebeests, wildebeests, elephants, buffaloes, zebras and hippos. It is also common to see lions basking in the sun after a meal or surveying the plains for their next meal. Cheetahs and leopards are harder to spot but reasonably common.

Masai Mara National Reserve to Nairobi

We depart from our safari lodge at 10:00 am with an optional visit to the Maasai village and then return to bustling Nairobi. We will arrive at about 4:30 pm, marking the end of this unforgettable 3-day Masai Mara safari.
