Nairobi to Masai Mara National Reserve

You will depart for Masai Mara at 7:00 am (pick-up point at Nairobi hotel) with stopovers at the Rift Valley viewpoint and Narok. You will arrive at the lodge in the afternoon and check in for lunch. At 4:00 pm, you will take your first thrilling game drive in the Masai Mara National Reserve, one of East Africa’s top safari destinations. Thereafter, you will return to the lodge late in time for dinner. You will enjoy a bonfire as you listen to some interesting Maasai stories.

Masai Mara National Reserve

This day will be spent game viewing in Kenya’s finest wildlife park, the Masai Mara National Reserve. Your full-day game drive will take you in search of Africa’s Big Five and other wildlife inhabiting this vast Kenyan game reserve.

Wherever you go in the vast Masai Mara, you will see wildlife such as Maasai giraffes, baboons, warthogs, bat-eared foxes, grey jackals, spotted hyenas, topis, impalas, hartebeests, wildebeests, elephants, buffaloes, zebras and hippos. It is also common to see lions either basking in the sun after a heavy meal or surveying the plains for their next meal. Cheetahs and leopards are harder to spot but reasonably common.

We depart from our safari lodge at 10.00 am with an optional visit to a Maasai village. We return to the bustling Nairobi, arriving at about 4:30 pm. Drop off at your hotel. This unforgettable 3-day Masai Mara safari ends upon our return to Nairobi.
