Upon arrival at Kilimanjaro International Airport (JRO), you will be greeted by your guide who will transfer you to your accommodation in Arusha, a vibrant city surrounded by stunning landscapes. Arusha is known as the "Safari Capital" of Tanzania and is a perfect starting point for safaris to iconic national parks like Serengeti and Ngorongoro. You’ll have the rest of the day at leisure to rest and recover from your flight, allowing you to adjust to the time zone and relax. If time permits, you may also visit local attractions like the Maasai Market or take a short cultural walk around the city. Enjoy a peaceful night’s stay before the adventure begins the next day.

Day 2

After an early breakfast, your safari adventure begins with a scenic drive from Arusha to Tarangire National Park, approximately a 2-3 hour journey. Tarangire is famous for its large elephant herds and iconic baobab trees, creating a unique atmosphere for your first game drive. The park’s diverse ecosystem is home to a variety of animals, including wildebeest, zebras, giraffes, lions, and several species of antelope. Tarangire is also a birdwatcher’s paradise, with over 500 species recorded. Your game drive will allow you to enjoy Tarangire’s beauty while spotting wildlife in the park’s expansive savannah. Day 3

After breakfast, you’ll set off on a 4-5 hour drive to Serengeti National Park, one of the most renowned wildlife destinations in the world. As you journey to the Serengeti, the landscape begins to change, and you’ll notice the iconic rolling plains stretching out ahead. Upon arrival, enjoy an afternoon game drive in this vast, open park, which is famous for its incredible wildlife and expansive savannahs. Depending on the time of year, you may catch a glimpse of the Great Migration, where millions of wildebeest, zebras, and gazelles travel in search of fresh grazing. During your game drive, expect to see predators such as lions, cheetahs, and leopards, as well as a wide variety of herbivores. After a rewarding day, return to your lodge for a restful evening and dinner.

Today is dedicated to a full-day game drive, allowing you to explore more of Serengeti National Park. The park is home to an incredible diversity of animals, including the "Big Five" (lion, elephant, buffalo, leopard, and rhino). Serengeti’s vast plains make it one of the best places in the world for wildlife sightings. You’ll visit different areas within the park, searching for predators, herds of wildebeest and zebras, and a variety of birds. Your guide will share insights into the park’s ecosystems, and you’ll have opportunities for amazing wildlife photography. As you journey through Serengeti, you might witness predator-prey interactions, making for a truly unforgettable safari experience. After a rewarding day in the bush, head back to your accommodation for dinner and a peaceful night.

The Ngorongoro Crater is a UNESCO World Heritage Site and is often referred to as the "Eighth Wonder of the World" due to its high concentration of wildlife within its caldera. The crater floor is a fertile and rich environment, providing a habitat for a variety of species, including large populations of elephants, buffaloes, zebras, and wildebeests. It is also one of the best places in the world to see black rhinos in the wild. The descent into the crater is spectacular, offering panoramic views of the caldera below. You will spend the day exploring the crater floor, spotting wildlife, and enjoying the breathtaking scenery. After your game drive, you’ll return to your lodge or camp for a relaxing evening.

Return to Arusha for Local Activities and Departure
After an early breakfast, you’ll make your way back to Arusha, which will take around 3-4 hours. Upon arrival, you’ll have time for local activities, such as visiting a Maasai cultural village to learn about the customs and traditions of this famous indigenous group, or you might want to take a trip to Arusha National Park to see more wildlife, including giraffes, monkeys, and buffaloes. If you’re interested in coffee, you can also visit a nearby plantation to discover how Tanzania’s famous coffee is grown and processed. Depending on your departure time, you may also want to explore the city’s shops for souvenirs before heading to your home. Your safari will end with wonderful memories of Tanzania’s stunning landscapes, diverse wildlife, and rich culture.
