Day 2
Transfer to Tarangire Nation Park
Transfer to Tarangire Nation Park
After breakfast, you’ll embark on a scenic drive to Tarangire National Park (approximately 2-3 hours). Famous for its large elephant herds and baobab trees, Tarangire offers excellent wildlife viewing. Upon entering the park, your guide will take you on a thrilling game drive, where you’ll spot elephants, giraffes, buffalo, and a variety of birds. During the dry season, wildlife congregates around the Tarangire River, making it an ideal place for animal sightings. You’ll also see other wildlife such as lions, zebras, and wildebeests. Enjoy a picnic lunch in the park, surrounded by nature, before heading out for an afternoon game drive. Afterward, return to your lodge for a relaxing evening and dinner.

Day 3

After an early breakfast, you will drive to Lake Eyasi, located in the Rift Valley (approximately 3 hours from Tarangire). Lake Eyasi is a seasonal lake known for its wildlife and cultural significance, particularly with the Hadza tribe, one of the last hunter-gatherer tribes in Tanzania. Upon arrival, you will be greeted by a local guide and head out for a game drive around the lake’s shores, where you can see flamingos, waterbucks, and various bird species. You will also have the opportunity to learn about the traditional way of life of the Hadza people, who still live in a nomadic lifestyle and depend on hunting and gathering. Enjoy a cultural exchange, and perhaps join the Hadza on a hunt or a guided walk to learn about the plants they use for food and medicine. Return to your lodge in the late afternoon, where you can relax and enjoy a local meal.

After an early breakfast, you will drive to Serengeti National Park (approximately 4-5 hours), one of the most iconic wildlife destinations in the world. Serengeti is famous for its endless plains, abundant wildlife, and, depending on the season, the Great Wildebeest Migration. Upon arrival, you will immediately embark on a game drive, with your guide leading you across the vast savannah to spot lions, cheetahs, leopards, and a range of herbivores such as zebras, gazelles, and buffalo. Depending on the season, you may also witness the breathtaking spectacle of the wildebeest migration as they move across the park in search of fresh grazing. Your guide will ensure that you get the best possible game viewing experience while explaining the behaviors and habits of the animals you encounter. After a picnic lunch in the park, you’ll continue exploring before heading to your accommodation for the evening. Enjoy a leisurely dinner and overnight stay in Serengeti.

Known as the "Garden of Eden," the Ngorongoro Crater is a collapsed volcanic caldera that shelters a variety of animals in a unique landscape. You will descend into the crater for a game drive that offers one of the highest concentrations of wildlife in Africa. The crater floor is home to lions, elephants, rhinos, wildebeests, and a range of bird species, including flamingos and vultures. The presence of a permanent water source makes this location ideal for spotting wildlife throughout the year. Enjoy a picnic lunch inside the crater, surrounded by breathtaking views of the caldera. After breakfast, start your journey back to Arusha (approximately 3-4 hours). On the way, you may stop at a Maasai village to learn about the traditions and customs of this indigenous community. The Maasai people, known for their distinctive clothing and culture, will give you an insight into their way of life, including their pastoral lifestyle, their dances, and their ceremonies. Once back in Arusha, you’ll have time to participate in local activities. You could explore the Arusha National Museum to learn more about the region's history and wildlife, visit local markets for handmade crafts, or go on a coffee tour to discover how Tanzania’s famous coffee is grown and processed. Then after you departure depending on your departure time.
