Nairobi to Samburu National Reserve

You will be picked up in the Nairobi hotel/airport and depart for Samburu at 7:00 am. This will be a 6-hour drive. There will be an enroute stopover to view Mount Kenya with its snow-capped peaks. You'll arrive at the camp just in time for check-in and lunch. You'll embark on your first game drive in the afternoon with a chance to spot the Grevy zebras, reticulated giraffes, gerenuks, Beisa oryx and Somali ostrich, elephants, lions, leopards, and cheetahs. Later in the evening, you'll drive back to your camp for dinner and an overnight stay.

Samburu National Reserve

You will enjoy an early morning game drive before returning to the camp for breakfast. After breakfast, you will embark on a full-day game drive with packed lunch boxes. This will be a full day of unlimited wildlife viewing. Possible sightings of unique wildlife species like oryx, gerenuk, Gravy’s zebra, Somali ostrich, and other wild animals peculiar to this semi-arid region. Your game drives will be along the Ewaso Nyiro River where most of the wild animals are found. You will also be able to watch different species of birds found in the reserve.

Samburu National Reserve to Nairobi
